   Grains Looking Ahead to 3-Day Holiday

   December corn was fractionally lower, November soybeans were fractionally
higher, and September Chicago wheat was 7 cents lower.

6:00 a.m. CME Globex:   December corn was fractionally lower, November soybeans
were fractionally higher, and September Chicago wheat was 7 cents lower.

CME Globex Recap:   Grains posted an active overnight session before corn and
soybeans were near unchanged early Thursday. Wheat contracts continues to come
under pressure heading into a three-day holiday weekend. Outside markets were
mixed with energies higher and metals mostly lower. The U.S. dollar index was
also showing a small loss, awaiting the release of June nonfarm payroll and
unemployment rate numbers.

OUTSIDE MARKETS:   The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed 138.40 points higher
Wednesday at 17,757.91. Asian markets were mostly higher with the Nikkei up
193.18 points at 20,522.50. European markets were mixed. The U.S. dollar index
was 0.110 lower at 96.200. Crude oil was $0.09 higher at $57.05 while Brent
crude was $0.28 higher at $62.29. August gold was $7.30 lower at $1,162.00.
Soybeans at the Dalian Exchange were lower while Malaysian palm oil contracts
were mixed.
